In our rushed forcing of memorizing letters and writing names, we have totally forgotten about the VITAL skills that absolutely MUST come BEFORE we can expect children to joyfully read and write. Necessary MOVEMENT is being replaced by way too much sitting still and listening. This workshop will highlight some of the key skills that children MUST acquire BEFORE they read and write and ALL of them are developed through organic, child-led play.
