Valuing the Work of Children

In order to be empowered, children must feel valued. A grand way for adults to foster value is to validate the work of each child. Keeping in mind everything you know about each child plays a huge role in validating what they are choosing to do. Along with validating, mindful consideration must be used when determining how much help from you a child MAY or MAY NOT need, and finally invitations. WAITING for an invitation from a child can be the most difficult, but necessary thing an adult absolutely must do.
